Church Service Prayers Privacy Policy

Notia ("we", "us") publishes the Church Service Prayers app and website. This policy explains what information is handled when you use them. Effective date: November 6, 2026.

1. Information we collect directly

The app has no sign-up, no login, and no way to submit your name, phone number, or email address. Your prayer requests, the days you prayed, your saved prayers, and your text size and reminder settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not collect your faith, beliefs, or the content of your prayers.

2. Information processed automatically by our ad provider

The Android app shows Google AdMob banner, interstitial, and app open ads, plus a rewarded ad that appears only when you choose it (to light an extra candle). To serve ads, Google may automatically collect and process the following information. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Approximate location: approximate location estimated from your IP address (precise location and GPS are not collected). Purpose: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
App activity: app interactions such as ad views and clicks. Purpose: advertising, analytics.
Device or other IDs: device identifiers such as the advertising ID. Purpose: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
App info and performance: crash logs and diagnostics. Purpose: keeping the ad SDK stable.

What you type into the app, such as prayer requests, is never shared with the ad provider. You can limit ad personalization or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

3. Permissions

Apart from internet access, the app does not request location, camera, photos, microphone, or contacts permissions. Notification permission is requested only when you turn on Prayer Reminders, and reminders are scheduled by your phone itself, without a server. Keeping the screen on while you read a prayer or use the Prayer Room needs no extra permission. When you tap Listen, the recording is streamed from our website; no information about you is sent with it.

4. Service providers and security

Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of the app's web pages and audio
Google LLC: advertising (AdMob)

All app screens and ad traffic use encrypted connections (HTTPS).

5. Deletion and your rights

Information stored on your device can be deleted inside the app, and it is removed immediately when you uninstall the app or clear its data. We do not keep a separate copy.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Notice

This app is made by Notia and is not an official app of any church, denomination, or organization. The prayers were written by Notia. The classic prayers and creeds are public-domain texts from the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the King James Bible (1611), and traditional hymnody.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
